Walk-ins welcome no appointment needed

Punctures don't happen at convenient times. That's why we accept walk-in puncture repairs during all opening hours Mon–Fri 9am–6pm and Sat 10am–6pm. If you're not sure whether it's safe to drive to us, call 07341 216705 and we'll advise you.

If your tyre has already gone completely flat, do not drive on it. Driving even a short distance on a flat tyre destroys the sidewall and can turn a repairable £10 puncture into a £50+ replacement. Use a spare if you have one, or call us for advice on getting to us safely.

What we do at every puncture repair

  1. Visual inspection first: We look at the tyre on the car checking where the puncture is and whether there's obvious sidewall or shoulder damage before anything else.
  2. Honest assessment and clear price: We tell you upfront whether the tyre can be safely repaired and give you a firm price before we touch anything.
  3. Remove the tyre completely: We take the wheel off and unmount the tyre from the rim to inspect the inner liner the only way to be sure there's no hidden damage.
  4. Repair from the inside: Proper puncture repairs use a mushroom plug patch from the inside of the tyre, not a roadside plug from the outside. This is the only method approved under British Standard BS AU 159g:2019.
  5. Refit, balance, and pressure check: The tyre is remounted, balanced, and inflated to your car's correct pressure before being fitted back on the vehicle.

The full process takes around 20–30 minutes for most vehicles.

Can your puncture be repaired?

Not every puncture can be legally or safely fixed. Under British Standard BS AU 159g, a puncture is only repairable if:

Sidewall and shoulder punctures cannot be repaired they must be replaced. We will never repair a tyre that we believe is unsafe to put back on the road. If yours needs replacing, we'll have options in stock and fit them the same visit.

Slow puncture? If your tyre keeps going soft but you can't see obvious damage, the puncture may be very small or the valve may be leaking. Bring the car in we'll find the cause. Slow punctures left unfixed lead to tyre failure at the worst possible moment. Read more: Puncture Repair Cost in Ashford.
